Volume 5 Chapter 52: You Remind Me Of Someone

This event occurred for some time now. However, this time was much larger than before!

"Because I want to get something to eat before I do my thing!" The person who said this was none other than Dalen. This was a surprise. Keith didn't think Dalen would wait like this as well!

"Same!" Cedric and Dalen looked at one another. One look was enough before they nodded. Mutual trust formed between them!

"This is not my fault," Keith sighed as he set up his cart, "Please line up to get your food!" Keith crunched his knuckles as he got to work. While he did that,

"Class Rep," Keith looked up to see Melor and some of his guys.

"Hi, Melor. What do you want?"

"I will have a chicken crepe and some lamb soup," Melor didn't hesitate to order.

"Gotcha. What about the others?"

"The same!" The dwarves said in unison.

"Mmhmm," Like that, Keith got to work. Melor and the others watched him from afar. As he continued to work,

"Keith, did we come late?" This time, the person who came was Madison. She wasn't alone as the other receptionist was there as well.

"Nope. I opened it a few minutes ago. What would you like to get?" Keith smiled.

"I will have the pork soup and a chicken crepe!" Madison smiled. She was interested in the soup.

"I like to have a chicken crepe as well!" The receptionist started to say what they wanted. He handed the orders back to them,

"So delicious,"

"We should have come here yesterday as well."

The receptionists were in awe of the cooking. However

"Hey!" Keith looked up. In front of him was an elf.

"Hello, what do you want to order?"

The elf smirked, "I want to buy all the food you have in stock!"

When that was said, everyone's expression turned dark. Buy everything?! Has this guy gone mad?

The elf gave another dirty smirk, "Who cares about you all. I have the capital to buy all of it," He said, bringing out a bag of coins.

"Now, hand over all of your stock."

"Sorry. But I'm not planning to sell you anything." Keith shook his head.

The elf's eyes widened, "But I have all the coins!"

"Yeah, and I don't care." Keith didn't care about coins.

"And I can pay double!"

"Nah, I'm good." At this point in his life, he could retire and lounge around. That was how many coins he had.

"How dare you! Are you not going to serve a paying customer? You decrepit human!"

One of Keith's brows raised, "For starters, I'm not your servant. Get that through your thick skull. Don't talk to me like that. Two, I only serve respectable and calm customers." This guy was acting like a fool.

"Leave and don't annoy me. I have things to do," Keith returned to work without looking at him. He was focused on cooking for the rest.

"You! How dare you treat-"

"A noble like that?" Keith finished his sentence before the guy could. And he added, "I've dealt with so many nobles that I really don't give a damn. If you're eating here, that means you're a customer. You're not a noble or royalty in front of my eyes."

"I will-"

""Get my revenge?" Kay. Peace out!" Keith waved his hand with a smile, shooing him off. The elf was about to blow a gasket. However, he did leave.

Keith looked up, "Please be mindful, everyone. I don't want anything like that to happen again."

"Understood, Boss!"

"We wouldn't do something like that!"

"Yeah,"

"Kid, how did you know what he would say?" Cedric grinned.

"Because I heard it too many times to count," Keith let out a dry laugh. The number of times he was threatened and raged at was too many to count from both lives! It was triple digits.

Predicting what they said was easy. It was like they were reading off a manual.

"It seems you've been through some things," Cedric noticed the tiresome expression and added, "But you should have decked him."

"Nope. It's not worth it. Nothing would come out of it," Keith understood. When that Viscount Filem thing happened, there were bound to be others who would cause problems, and punching them out would make it worse.

"Also, kinda don't want to dirty my hands,"

"You're too calm and lazy," Cedric sighed, "You remind me of this aloof old man."
