"..." Sarah sighed as she felt most of the energy from her legs leaving her body. But Keith quickly held her arm,
"Are you alright?" He was surprised Sarah would react this way. Sarah shook her head,
"Sorry about that. Feel a little lightheaded." She took a big sigh before saying, "I will tell you everything I know. Do you know I have older siblings?"
"Mmhmm," Keith nodded. He knew Jack and Sarah had two older siblings.
"Well, my big sister caught the fancy of the oldest son of the Mill's family,"
"..." Oh, dear. No. Keith couldn't imagine what was going to happen next.
"Count Mills had sent an engagement letter to our family. But my father refused it."
"...Why?"
"That's because the Mills family isn't good. They're known to be lecherous. My sister would be living in hell if she went." Ryan understood. There was no way he could let his daughter join that family.
"..."
"Because of my dad's decision, Count Mills took offense. He started to suppress my family,"
"How long?"
"For about a year now," Sarah answered.
A year? Keith was surprised, "Why didn't you ask us for help?" William and Ryan were friends.
"That's because my dad doesn't want to bother your family."
"But how does Todd have anything to do with this?" Keith was confused about this. This had to do with his elder brother and his father. So, how did Todd get into this mix?
"Todd told Jack if he wanted his family to stop suppressing our family, he would have to listen to all of his commands like a dog," Sarah's expression turned dark when she said it. She only found out about it at the last moment.
"So that was why he burned down the cart?"
"Mmhmm," Sarah added, "He really didn't mean it, Keith."
"I know," Keith smiled. Jack was not the type of person who would do something like that.
"Thank you," Sarah and Keith talked a bit more before Sarah got up,
"Thank you for telling me all of this,"
But Sarah shook her head, "I should be the one thanking you. Talking with you calmed me down."
"That's good,"
"I'll see you later," Sarah didn't say anything else as she returned to class. Keith was alone now. His calm expression turned dark.
The Mills family. It had to be them.
...
During the night, Cadmus and Sohma went through some paperwork. The two worked, but one person had a dark expression as he did.
Sohma sighed, "Would you quit making that expression?"
"How can I not? That kid's cart was destroyed like that?! What am I supposed to do about the food?!"
"Quit it with the food, Principal," Aidiun clutched his head. This dragon! How could he care about the food instead of Keith!
"And we need to focus. We have to deal with the class representative situation." That was the main concern they needed to figure out.
"More students are fed up with Keith being the representative. They want him off," Because of what Chelan did, the other students started to talk about it. Well, they were talking about it before.
But this was more unified.
"Who cares," Cadmus scoffed, "That's not happening even if they're angry."
"I think the main problem should be making Keith show his strength," Sohma added. The cause of this discourse wasn't the students who disagreed with Keith being the representative.
It was that the latter didn't care about the position at all. If Keith showed off his strength, everyone would shut up about this.
"And that isn't going to happen." Keith wasn't the type of person to do that. He didn't have any intentions of showing off his strength.
"And attitude is a problem as well," Keith was aloof. If he loses it, then so be it. That was how much he didn't care.
"..." The three didn't know what to say about it. But Cadmus sighed and looked out the window. He blinked a few times before rubbing his eyes.
"What's the matter?" Sohma questioned.
"Look out the windows as well." Sohma and Aidiun looked at one another before staring out the window. What they saw were little sparks.
"Is someone practicing magic? Why are they using such dangerous ones." Those sparks were actually large explosions.
Before the three could question it even more, an instructor bursted into the room!
"Principal! We have a problem!"
"What?"
"A student is attacking an island!"
"What?!" The three blinked their eyes when they heard that!
"Who would be stupid enough to do something like that?!" There was Cadmus and Sohma. Who would dare cause trouble?
"It's Keith Freed!" The professor roared out.
"..." There was a moment of silence before all three got up as they dashed at the speed of light.
