The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 405 402- Let Me Do This… (3)

Shi Chun had been killed.

His youngest brother whom he had laughed and talked with earlier today was dead.

Shi Meng was unable to make an expression that could convey just how angry he was right now. The burning feeling he felt in his heart made his chest feel like it was about to explode.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Shi Meng didn't care about rank and he directly kill the lower-level Sea Beasts in between his battle with the Rank 4 Sea Beasts.

Shi Meng wished he could release all his pent-up emotions and destroy the whole world along with these Sea Beasts.

But no matter how he swung his blade, and no matter how many Sea Beasts he killed, he knew he would never be able to see his brother again.

Shi Meng leaped out of the water and tears rolled down his cheeks, but it was hard to tell he was crying as it mixed in with water droplets.

With a silent cold stare, Shi Lei lifted his saber and went to gather his strength to kill these three in one blow. He didn't care about conserving strength, when more Rank 4 beasts came he'll massacre them all the same.

However, a voice suddenly echoed behind him stopping him.

"Step aside."

Shi Meng hearing this turned around to see a rather beautiful woman in a dress, who was holding a long sword while floating behind him. From her attire, she seemed to have come straight here from some event without changing into her battle attire.

"Sister Anu!"

Shi Meng's cold expression changed when he saw this woman to a mournful one.

"Youngest brother, he…"

The woman name Anu wasn't listening to Shi Meng as her entire focus was on the Sea Beasts in the water below.

She raised her sword and slashed down.

A horrifying frigid energy burst forth from her strike. It was an attack that was infinitesimally close to reaching the Soul Transformation Realm.

The sea for several hundred meters was frozen down to its bed. The three Rank 4 Sea Beasts had been frozen to death.

Shi Meng used a bit of effort to shield the cold aura as he looked down at the sea.

*Sob*

Shi Meng then turned to see Anu crying while holding back her sobs.

"Sister Anu…"

Shi Meng mumbled, but he didn't know what to say in this situation.

She was the Lieutenant of the Winger Tiger Battalion and someone who had loved his brother.

"He said he wouldn't accept me because that would mean he couldn't focus on his sword wholeheartedly. When I finally force that bastard to agree to accept me when I enter the Soul Transformation Realm he went and died. He must have done this on purpose, bastard."

After cursing Shi Chun, Anu wiped her tears before turning around and going back to the wall.

Shi Meng was left there with a bitter smile on his face because of her words.

Turning to the horizon, Shi Meng muttered.

"Eldest brother, at least bring back youngest brother's body."

BANG!

Shi Lei Hu's figure released the final sonic boom that made him reach the area where the ship had stopped.

Shi Lei Hu's figure came to a halt when he felt the concentration of the ship's aura here, as well as the broken formation.

Looking down at the sea while wearing a cold expression, he swept out with his Divine Will. After three breaths worth of time, his face twitch slightly and the murderous aura around him increased.

However, his expression then changed the next second.

With a serious expression, Shi Lei Hu waved his hand and the void in front of him distort before Shi Chun's headless corpse appeared in from of him.

"This-?!"

Shi Lei Hu sensed a strange aura around his brother's corpse. It was faint but that power felt like the heavens themselves.

"Brother wasn't killed by the Sea King? Then who killed my brother?"

*Grit*

Shi Lei Hu continued to examine Shi Chun's corpse to find anything, and soon he realize the anomaly of his brother's death. The wound on his abdomen look severe but it wasn't fetal, the blow that killed him was where the concentration of that heaven-shaking aura was.

But Shi Lei Hu could sense his brother's cultivation seemed like it was sucked out of him. The process wasn't entirely complete so traces were left.

"So that's it."

Shi Lei Hu said with slumped shoulders as he swept his gaze across the battlefield.

Using the residue aura left from the battle, the events that happened between his brother and Sea King Modu played in his mind.

"You never listen, do you? I told you never to use that power."

Shi Lei Hu was the only one who knew about the Sword Spirit in Shi Chun's soul because after Shi Lei Hu had convinced their father to let Shi Chun train the sword, Shi Chun had come to him in worry because of irregularities in his soul.

Shi Lei Hu didn't know what to do so they went to their father, who despite being angry sacrificed a lot to help seal the Sword Spirit. But it had only slowed down the process, as long Shi Chun continued comprehending the sword his soul wouldn't stop transforming.

But Shi Chun didn't stop even after their father's warnings so not wanting to see his son slowly kill himself, he completely cut him off.

Shi Meng saw their father as someone who placed the clan and the battalion before them, but that did not mean he didn't care for them.

"It's my fault, I was the one who sent you on this path."

Tears fell from Shi Lei Hu's eyes and his heart was filled with regret.

Shi Lei Hu was about to wave his hand to put away Shi Chun's corpse, but his body suddenly went rigged. Then slowly, his eyes widen and he quickly came up to his brother to lift the sleeve on his right arm.

His brother's skin was pale and even though he was in the ocean, his body was still a Soul Transformation Realm cultivator's so only his clothes were affected by the rough waves and pressure of the sea floor.

His body was still intact for Shi Lei Hu to read the bloody words hastily carved into his skin.

Shi Lei Hu's body shuddered after he read his brother's final message.

"BASTARD!! I WON'T LET YOU!!!"

Shi Lei Hu suddenly roared out before he stored Shi Chun's corpse, and then shot forward with a sonic boom behind him.

"Brother… hurry... Teng Ye… bloodlines… ship… Sea King."

Just by these words, Shi Lei Hu had deciphered what the current situation was after a split second of thinking.

Sea King Modu was after Teng Ye's bloodline, but someone with a similar bloodline to him was on the ship. He needed to hurry before Sea King Modu get to the ship.

Shi Lei Hu pieced this together partly because his brother said "bloodlines" instead of "bloodline." But he could really have only pieced this together because one question was plaguing his mind. Why would the Sea King go after a ship full of disciples?

It was only following this train of thought that his brother's words were able to fill in the gaps to this question.

"Even to the very end, you were amazing Youngest brother. Don't worry, I won't let that bastard get what he wants."

As Shi Lei Hu sped to catch up to the ship, on the ship itself, Jun and everyone was around a still unconscious Yang Su.

Lihua and Fei Yin's palms were glowing with a blue and green glow as they examined Yang Su's soul and body.

"What's wrong with senior disciple brother? Why isn't he waking up?"

Jun asked with a worried expression when he saw Lihua and Fei Yin withdrew their hands from Yang Su.

"He's fine. He's only unconscious because his meridians were sealed. But the seal will wear off soon so he'll wake up after a while."

Hearing this Jun sighed in relief, but his expression suddenly froze when he remembered something.

"Oh no!"

Jun quickly looked at Yang Su as his eyes turning completely white. In his vision, several different colors inside of Yang Su's body revealed themselves to him.

Jun's face immediately paled when he saw that the red color was slowly encroaching on the others.

"This isn't good, we have to wake up senior disciple brother he's in danger. Quick, find a way to wake him up somehow!"

"Jun what's wrong?"

Caught off guard by his sudden reaction, Tai asked.

"Senior disciple brother…he's struggling with his cultivation. If he was just unconscious then everything would be fine, but his meridians were sealed so he can't circulate the cultivation method Master created for him!"

"Calm down and explain what's going on, your not making any sense idiot!"

Lihua yelled in frustration as she was starting to worry because of Jun's frantic tone. It seemed Yang Su was in danger.

However, Jun instead of wasting time explaining gritted his teeth and placed his hands on Yang Su's chest. A blinding white light began to radiate from his palms. Jun's two pairs of wings also appeared along with the tattoo of a Kun Peng on his forehead.

"W-What are you doing Jun?!"

Fang Chen seeing Jun using his Divine Beast legacy like this had his heart drop.

'Jun can't use his Kun Peng legacy like this, the backlash would be too severe.'

As this situation developed, it drew a few people's attention, though it wasn't like most people on the ship hadn't turned their attention to them already.

Especially Shiming. His eyes narrowed into slits as he looked at them. This was due to the fact that the first thing the Sea King did after boarding the ship was to kill his way towards them.

He was after them for some reason.

But quickly their attention was forcefully shifted from them as the ship suddenly ground to a halt.

"Fuck!"

"What is this?!"

"What's going on?! Get off me!"

Numerous angry yells echoed out as some people got knocked to the ground.

This scene was too terrifyingly similar.

Everyone's faces fell when they realize this and they all turned to look outside the ship.

And as they had thought, Sea King Modu who had a disheveled appearance was staring at them with a malicious grin.

"What, were you going somewhere? Kekekekukuku!!"
